*Average data is based on 2019 graduates of our SF and NY Campus Software Engineering Program; for the SF program 268, of the 306 graduates, participated in the job search (excludes graduates choosing not to keep their job search commitments), with 248 being placed (81% placement rate overall; 93% placement rate among those participating) in full-time software engineering roles at an average first year compensation of $104,037 (124 at or above this average) with an average placement time of 4.8 months (157 placed at or faster); for the NY program 206, of the 226 graduates, participated in job search, with 196 being placed (87% placement rate overall, 95% placement rate among those participating) in full-time software engineering roles at an average first year compensation of $86,900 (95 at or above this average) with an average placement time of 4.9 months (121 placed at or faster). Data as of August 2021. Placements are defined as those hired into full time roles in the field of software engineering with at least a starting salary of $55K (SF) and $50K (NY) plus a small percentage (~6% of 2019 graduates) who are selected to join the App Academy instructional team. Average first year compensation and placement times are from the same population of placements. The average first year compensation data is directly from collected offer letters from 99% of our placed graduates.
