Diversity & Inclusion

We are committed to cultivating an inclusive environment for students from all backgrounds.

Students from all backgrounds find success

App Academy goes further than any other program in selecting the highest quality student body. Our tuition model allows us to run a truly meritocratic admissions process, where students are selected based on their potential to succeed and not on how much they can pay.

What we're working towards

Tuition accessibility
Our success-based tuition model makes a coding education more accessible to people with diverse financial situations. We also offer deposit assistance to applicants from communities underrepresented in tech.
Resource groups
We offer resource groups for students and staff from backgrounds underrepresented in tech to support each other and build community. Our SRG's include Black, Indigenous, and Latinx, LGBTQ and Women, Trans, and Gender Non-Conforming.
Code of conduct
We take our Code of Conduct seriously. It requires students and staff to treat each other with respect and dignity.
